7exo Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information 7exo collects, how it is used, who can see it, and the choices you have. It covers the 7exo iOS app — including exoVerse (social), exoPulse (places and communities), exoHealth (health dashboard), the exoID Apple Wallet pass and check-in features, and exoCircle nearby pairing — as well as the 7exo website at www.7exo.com (together, the "Services").

We have tried to write this policy in plain language and to describe what the app actually does — not what a generic template says. Two principles guide everything below:

  1. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show ads. There are no advertising networks, data brokers, analytics companies, or tracking SDKs anywhere in 7exo.

  2. The most sensitive data stays on your device. Your Apple Health data and your device's location are processed on your iPhone and are never transmitted to our servers.

1. Who we are

The Services are operated by 7exo Inc. ("7exo," "we," "us"). 7exo Inc. is the data controller of the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@7exo.com.

2. Information you provide to us

Account information. When you create a 7exo account (your "exoID"), we collect:

  • First and last name

  • Username (your @handle)

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Profile photo

  • Password

Your password is handled by Google Cloud Identity Platform, the sign-in service we use. It is transmitted securely to Google for authentication and is never stored on 7exo's servers or on your device. We store the other account fields listed above, along with a unique account identifier (your user ID) and the date your account was created.

Your phone number and email address are used for account identity and support. They are not shown on your public profile and are not searchable by other users.

Content you create. Posts and stories (text and photos), comments, and reactions in exoVerse. Photos you upload are re-encoded before upload, which removes hidden photo metadata such as the GPS location embedded by your camera — the location where a photo was taken is not uploaded with it.

Community memberships (exoPulse). You can join venue communities — for example a residence, workplace, campus, gym, park, institution, or dealership. We store the venue name and type for each community you join. Because a residence membership can reveal where you live, a dedicated Residence Visibility setting controls who can see it: everyone, friends, fellow residents, or no one.

Venue suggestions. If you request that a venue be added to exoPulse, we store the city, venue name, and the venue's map coordinates (taken from the map listing you selected — not from your device's location), linked to your account so you can withdraw the request.

Reports and blocks. If you report content or a user, we store your report and its reason. If you block someone, we store that block to enforce it.

Settings. Your app preferences (appearance, launch tab, notification toggles, visibility settings, and similar) are synced to your account so they follow you across devices.

3. Information created as you use the Services

Social activity. We record likes, follows, comments, and views — including which account viewed a given post, story, or profile — to power view counts, viewer lists, and your activity feed. See Section 6 for who can see this.

Check-ins (exoID Wallet pass). Your exoID pass contains your name, username, profile photo, and a QR code identifying your account. When a host scans your pass (or checks you in manually), we record a check-in: your account, the host's account, and the check-in and check-out times. This creates an attendance record for that event or venue. No GPS location is recorded with a check-in.

Purchases. If you make a purchase in the app, it is processed by Apple through the App Store using your Apple account. We never receive or store your payment card details; we receive only confirmation from Apple of what was purchased, which we use to provide what you paid for and for support.

Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store the Apple push token for your device so we can deliver them. If you add your exoID pass to Apple Wallet, Apple provides us a device registration and pass-update token so the pass can refresh; these are technical identifiers, not your name or contact details.

Technical logs. Like virtually all cloud-hosted services, our infrastructure (Google Cloud) automatically records standard request logs, which include IP addresses, for security, debugging, and reliability. We do not use these logs to build profiles of users, and we run no analytics on them.

4. Information processed only on your device

The following never leaves your iPhone and is never sent to 7exo's servers:

Apple Health data (exoHealth). With your permission, the app reads data such as weight, body composition, exercise minutes, workouts, steps, active energy, resting heart rate, and sleep from Apple Health to display your dashboard. This data is read-only, displayed on device, and cached only in the app's local storage on your iPhone. It is never uploaded, never shared, never sold, and never used for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose, consistent with Apple's HealthKit rules. If you unlink Apple Health, the local cache is deleted. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Health.

Location (exoPulse). With your permission, the app uses your approximate location (reduced accuracy, roughly 100 meters) while you are using the exoPulse map, solely to show where you are on the map and rank nearby venues above distant ones. Your coordinates are never transmitted to our servers, and the app never accesses location in the background.

Camera and photos. The camera is used to take photos for posts, stories, and your profile picture, and to scan exoID QR codes at check-in. Camera frames are processed on device; only the photos you choose to post are uploaded.

Nearby pairing (exoCircle). When you actively use nearby friend pairing, your device briefly broadcasts your username, display name, and user ID over Bluetooth and local Wi-Fi so another nearby 7exo user can find and add you. This happens only while the pairing feature is open, and no location data is involved. Nearby discovery can be disabled in settings.

5. Information we do NOT collect

To be explicit, 7exo does not:

  • Sell, rent, or trade personal information — to anyone, ever

  • Show advertising or work with ad networks

  • Use third-party analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs

  • Track you across other companies' apps or websites (the app declares "no tracking" in its Apple privacy manifest)

  • Access the advertising identifier (IDFA) or fingerprint your device

  • Upload your Apple Health data

  • Upload your device's location

  • Record audio or access your microphone

  • Read your contacts, calendar, or messages

6. Who can see your information within the app

7exo is a social product, so some information is visible to other users by design:

  • Profile: Your username, display name, profile photo, and first name are visible to other signed-in users. Your Name Privacy setting controls whether others see your full name or first name only. Your email and phone number are never shown.

  • Content: Posts and stories are visible according to their visibility setting (public posts appear in the shared feed; stories expire automatically after 77 hours).

  • Engagement: Lists of who liked or viewed a post, story, or profile are visible to signed-in users, and profile view counts are public. Profile-view notifications are deliberately anonymous ("Someone viewed your profile"), but viewer lists show who.

  • Communities: Members of a venue community can see the other members. Your residence community is additionally protected by your Residence Visibility setting.

  • Check-ins: When your exoID pass is scanned, the scanning host sees your first and last name, username, and your check-in/check-out times, and you appear on that host's attendee list with an occupancy count while you're checked in. Hosts also see aggregate statistics about their own events (attendance curves, arrival times, and similar).

  • Nearby pairing: As described in Section 4, nearby 7exo users can see your username and display name while you are actively pairing.

  • Search: Other users can find your account by searching your name or username.

You can block any user, which prevents interaction between your accounts, and you can report users or content to us.

7. How we use information

We use the information described above only to:

  • Provide the Services — accounts, feeds, stories, communities, passes, check-ins, purchases, and notifications

  • Maintain safety — enforcing blocks, reviewing reports, and preventing abuse

  • Secure and operate our infrastructure — authentication, debugging, and reliability

  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

8. Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your personal information on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — operating your exoID account and providing the features you use, including content, communities, check-ins, and notifications you enable.

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for optional, permission-based features such as Apple Health access, location, the camera, nearby pairing, and push notifications. Because Apple Health and location data are processed only on your device and never transmitted to us, your consent for them is managed entirely through iOS permissions, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings.

  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — securing our infrastructure, preventing abuse and fraud, enforcing blocks, and maintaining reliability, where these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with laws that apply to us.

You may withdraw any consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

9. Service providers and disclosures

We use exactly two infrastructure providers, and we share personal information with no one else in the ordinary course of operating the Services:

  • Google Cloud Platform hosts the Services: sign-in (Google Cloud Identity Platform), our application servers (Cloud Run), our database (Cloud SQL), and photo storage (Cloud Storage). Google processes this data on our behalf as a service provider under a data processing agreement and does not use it for its own purposes.

  • Apple provides the App Store (including purchase processing), push notifications (your notification and Wallet pass tokens pass through Apple's push service), Apple Wallet, and Apple Maps. When you search for venues or addresses in exoPulse, your search text is sent to Apple Maps to return results, under Apple's privacy terms. Apple Health data, as noted, stays on your device.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of 7exo, our users, or the public — and if 7exo is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy. If ownership or uses of personal information change as a result, we will notify you.

10. Where your data is stored and international transfers

Our servers and database are located in Google Cloud's us-central1 region (Iowa, United States). If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

Where we transfer personal information of users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to the United States, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under applicable law, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK Addendum where applicable) incorporated into our agreements with our service providers, together with the technical protections described in this policy. You may contact support@7exo.com for more information about these safeguards. We protect your information as described in this policy regardless of where you are.

11. How long we keep information

  • Account data and content: kept until you delete the content or your account.

  • Stories: automatically deleted 77 hours after posting.

  • Deleted posts: held in your Recently Deleted bin for about 24 hours (during which you can restore them), then permanently removed. You can also delete a post permanently and immediately.

  • Push tokens: removed when you sign out, and pruned automatically when Apple reports a device is no longer registered.

  • Backups: our database is backed up automatically; deleted records can persist in encrypted backups and recovery logs for approximately 7 days before rolling off.

  • Photos: stored until deleted; copies may persist in our storage systems and encrypted backups for a period after deletion and are not accessible through the Services.

  • Wallet technical records: limited technical records needed for Apple Wallet pass management (device registrations and pass-update state) may persist after account deletion; they contain device and pass identifiers, not your name or contact details.

  • Legal requirements: in specific cases we may retain particular records for longer where the law requires it — for example, records related to purchases, valid legal process, or the investigation of prohibited content.

12. Deleting your data and your privacy rights

Account deletion is built into the app: Settings → Legal & Safety → Data Rights & Deletion → Delete Account. You will confirm with your password. Deletion removes, immediately and permanently:

  • Your exoID profile (name, email, phone, photo reference, settings)

  • Your posts, stories, comments, likes, and views

  • Your follows and followers, blocks, and reports

  • Your community memberships and venue requests

  • Your check-in history — both check-ins of you and, if you hosted events, your attendee records

  • Your push notification registrations

  • Your sign-in account at our authentication provider

  • All 7exo data stored locally on your device

Residual copies may persist briefly in encrypted backups as described in Section 11.

Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to non-discrimination for exercising those rights. Most of these you can exercise directly in the app: your profile and settings are editable in place, and deletion is self-service as described above. For anything else — including data export requests or questions — email support@7exo.com. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder (typically by confirming control of the email address on the account) and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law — generally within 30 days for GDPR requests and 45 days for requests under U.S. state privacy laws, extendable where the law permits. Where the law allows, you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will verify the agent's authority and your identity.

13. Region-specific information

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. In addition to the rights above, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (EEA authorities are listed at edpb.europa.eu; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk; in Switzerland, the FDPIC). We would welcome the chance to address your concern first at support@7exo.com.

California. In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, as described in Sections 2 and 3: identifiers (name, username, email, phone number, user ID, device push tokens, IP addresses in logs); visual information (your profile photo and photos you post); internet or other electronic network activity (your activity within the Services, such as likes, follows, and views); and commercial information (App Store purchase confirmations). We collect these from you, your device, Apple, and other users' interactions with you, for the purposes in Section 7, and disclose them only as described in Sections 6 and 9. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months, so no "Do Not Sell or Share" opt-out is needed. We do not collect the CPRA's categories of "sensitive personal information" on our servers: precise geolocation and health data are processed only on your device, and we use no sensitive information to infer characteristics about you. California residents may exercise the rights in Section 12, including through an authorized agent, and will not be discriminated against for doing so.

Other U.S. states. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and Oregon) may exercise comparable rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability through the channels in Section 12. Because we do not sell personal information or process it for targeted advertising or profiling, no opt-outs of those activities are required.

Consumer health data (Washington, Nevada, and similar laws). 7exo's design means we do not collect consumer health data on our servers: your Apple Health information is processed and stored only on your device, under your control, and is never transmitted to, shared by, or sold by us.

Brazil. If the LGPD applies to you, you may exercise rights of confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, deletion, portability, and information about our disclosures by contacting support@7exo.com.

Canada. We collect, use, and disclose personal information with consent or as otherwise permitted by law. You may access and correct your information and withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

Australia. You may request access to and correction of your personal information, and you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

14. Security

  • All traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.

  • Sign-in uses short-lived, cryptographically signed tokens; your session credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain, Apple's encrypted credential store.

  • Photos are stored in a private storage bucket that cannot be accessed publicly; the app retrieves them through short-lived signed links that expire within an hour.

  • Passwords are handled and hashed by Google Cloud Identity Platform; 7exo never stores them.

  • Database credentials and signing secrets are kept in a managed secret store, not in code.

  • The app renders through a screen-capture protection layer, so screenshots and screen recordings of 7exo content come out blank on device.

No system is perfectly secure, but we design for least exposure: no third-party code in the app, no analytics pipelines, and no copies of sensitive data we don't need. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

15. Push notifications

Notifications are optional and controlled both by iOS permissions and by per-type toggles in 7exo's settings (follows, post likes, story likes, profile views). Notification content is minimal — for example, a first name and the action ("liked your post"); profile-view notifications never identify the viewer. Apple Wallet pass updates use silent, content-free pushes.

16. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 13 years old (or older where your country's law sets a higher minimum for consenting to data processing, such as 16 in parts of the EEA) to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages; if we learn that we have, we will delete it. Content that sexualizes or endangers minors is prohibited without exception, is removed immediately, and is reported to authorities where the law requires.

17. The 7exo website

Browsing www.7exo.com does not require an account, and the website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking. Standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) may be recorded by our hosting infrastructure for security and reliability.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Services evolve — for example, when new 7exo products launch. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify you through the app or the website before the changes take effect, and where the law requires your consent for a new use of your information, we will ask for it. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means the updated policy applies.

7exo Terms of Use

Effective Date: May 26, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and 7exo Inc. ("7exo," "we," "us"). They govern your use of the 7exo iOS app and its services — exoVerse, exoPulse, exoHealth, the exoID account and Apple Wallet pass, exoCircle nearby pairing, and, when it launches, exoBand — and the 7exo website at www.7exo.com (together, the "Services").

By creating an exoID or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who may use 7exo

You must be at least 13 years old (or older where your country's law sets a higher minimum) and meet the App Store age rating for 7exo. By using the Services you confirm that you meet these requirements and that you are not barred from using the Services under applicable law.

2. Your exoID account

Your exoID is your single 7exo account across all of our products.

  • Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

  • Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • Notify us promptly at support@7exo.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

  • Your account is for you — one person per exoID, and you may not sell, transfer, or share access to it.

You can delete your exoID at any time in the app (Settings → Legal & Safety → Data Rights & Deletion).

3. Your content

You own the content you create on 7exo — posts, stories, comments, photos, and profile information.

So that we can operate the Services, you grant 7exo a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to host, store, display, and transmit your content solely to operate and provide the Services. Deleting content revokes this license for that content, except for copies already delivered to other users or retained where the law requires (see the Privacy Policy for retention details).

You are responsible for your content. Only post what you have the right to share — including obtaining permission from identifiable people in your photos where required — and remember that content you make public, including public posts and your profile, is visible to other users as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Community rules

7exo is a place for real people to share with each other. When using the Services you may not:

  • Harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, or exploit any person

  • Post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, violent, deceptive, or invasive of another person's privacy

  • Post content that sexualizes or endangers minors — this is prohibited without exception, is removed immediately, and is reported to the authorities where the law requires

  • Use the Services to spam, scam, or mislead others

  • Collect or harvest other users' information, or use the Services to track a person

  • Interfere with, probe, overload, or attempt to bypass the security of the Services, or access them by any automated means (scraping, bots) without our written permission

  • Attempt to access another person's account or data

Nearby pairing (exoCircle). Nearby friend discovery may only be used to connect with people who choose to participate. Using it to track, follow, or contact a person who has declined or blocked you is prohibited and grounds for immediate account termination.

Reporting. You can report a post or user from within the app, or contact support@7exo.com. Violations may result in content removal, feature restrictions, or account termination, weighed by the severity and repetition of the conduct. Where practical, we will state the reason for an enforcement action and provide a means to appeal it. We cooperate with law enforcement when required by valid legal process.

5. The exoID Wallet pass and check-ins

Your exoID Apple Wallet pass identifies you.

  • The pass is personal and non-transferable. Do not share, lend, or duplicate it, and do not share images of its barcode — anyone with your barcode could be checked in as you.

  • If your pass or device is lost or stolen, remove the pass via Apple Wallet and contact support@7exo.com.

  • Presenting your pass for scanning shares your name, username, and check-in/check-out times with the scanning host, as described in the Privacy Policy.

  • The pass is not a government identification document and may not be presented as one.

  • If you host events: attendee information you receive through check-ins (names, usernames, attendance times) may be used only to manage your event and your community on 7exo. Using it for marketing, resale, profiling, or any purpose outside the Services is prohibited. As a host, you are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your handling of attendee information.

6. Health and safety disclaimer

exoHealth, exoPulse, and all health, nutrition, exercise, weight, sleep, and wellness information in the Services are for informational and motivational purposes only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and 7exo is not a medical device.

Consult a qualified health professional before starting or changing a diet, exercise routine, or weight goal — especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or take medication. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something displayed in 7exo.

The Services are not emergency services and do not monitor for medical or safety events. If you believe you are experiencing an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately — 911 in the United States.

7. Purchases

Purchases within the app, if offered, are processed by Apple through the App Store using your Apple account and are subject to the App Store's payment, renewal, and refund terms. We never receive your payment card details. Any subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period; we cannot cancel App Store subscriptions on your behalf, and refund requests must be directed to Apple. Prices may change prospectively with notice through the App Store. Except where required by law or Apple's policies, purchases are non-refundable, including if your account is terminated for violating these Terms.

8. License to use the app; Apple terms

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the 7exo app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store usage rules.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, scrape, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Services, or interfere with their operation or security, except to the extent a law gives you rights that cannot be contractually waived.

Because the app is distributed through the Apple App Store, the following also applies:

  • These Terms are between you and 7exo Inc. only — not Apple — and 7exo, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.

  • Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the app.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the app. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (if any) to you; Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.

  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, claims under consumer protection or similar laws, and intellectual property infringement claims.

  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated by the U.S. government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Intellectual property and copyright complaints

The Services — including the 7exo, exoID, exoVerse, exoPulse, exoHealth, exoCircle, and exoBand names and logos, and the app's design and software — are owned by 7exo Inc. and protected by law. Except for the licenses expressly granted in these Terms, no rights in the Services are transferred to you.

Copyright complaints. If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, email legal@7exo.com with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the material at issue and where it appears in the Services; (c) your name, address, telephone number, and email address; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf; and (f) your physical or electronic signature. We will review valid notices, remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate, and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to legal@7exo.com containing the information described in 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).

Other intellectual property complaints (for example, trademark) may be sent to legal@7exo.com with the material at issue, where it appears in the Services, your contact information, and a statement that your complaint is accurate and made in good faith.

10. Beta features and feedback

Parts of the Services are offered as a beta and are under active development: features may be incomplete, contain errors, or change materially, and displayed information — including busyness estimates, venue data, and health dashboards — may be inaccurate. We welcome your feedback. Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you choose to send us (including venue requests) are voluntary, and you grant 7exo a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them for any purpose without compensation or attribution.

11. Changes to the Services

The Services will evolve: features may be added, changed, or removed, and some products (such as exoBand) are not yet available. We may also suspend the Services for maintenance. We are not liable for unavailability, but we will make reasonable efforts to keep the Services running and your data safe.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to your account, your content, or individual features when we reasonably determine that your use violates these Terms, harms other users, or creates legal or security risk. Where practical, we will state the reason and provide a means to appeal.

You may stop using the Services at any time and may delete your exoID in the app. Sections of these Terms that by their nature survive termination — including ownership, feedback licenses, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and the governing-law and dispute provisions — remain in effect.

13. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, 7exo disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that content — including busyness estimates, venue information, and health displays — is accurate or complete. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, host, or venue, online or offline; a venue's appearance in exoPulse is not an endorsement or a guarantee of its safety or quality. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer guarantees in jurisdictions such as the EU, UK, and Australia.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 7exo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of the Services. To the same extent, 7exo's total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they apply only to the extent the law permits. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you retain all mandatory statutory rights.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold 7exo harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or of another person's rights.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking relief in small-claims court or limits rights you hold under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence, including, for consumers in the EU or UK, the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. If we make material changes, we will post them in the app or on the website before they take effect and update the effective date above. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the Services and delete your exoID.

18. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and 7exo about the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You must comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws in connection with the Services. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

19. Contact
